其实，对于2009年，我们现在刚刚迈出了一小步，起跑阶段最重要的是每一步都夯实踩稳，绝不要现在就想着冲刺。从金刊创办那一刻到现在，我们已经走过了6年，大家是我们迎来的第7批毕业生，我们发现，每年笑到最后的都是那些紧跟节奏、不疾不徐的考生，他们也许开始在班里不显山不露水，但他们的坚持让他们成功。这些年来，到金刊“做客”的名师已近百位，几乎每位老师都要反复给大家强调基础。其实“基础”二字正是考场成功的精髓所在，这半年我们要预备的就是基础，到了的时候，拼的也是基础。别总羡慕别人能解偏难怪题，人家基础好，你基础不好，原因就这么简单。所以说，我们现在要拼，有限的时间里，把“地基”先打好。编者

目前我们处在第一阶段，复习侧重的内容是重点单词、短语和句型的使用。我们应该做到在此期间将纲的要求同课本结合起来，以“纲”为据，注重知识的横向联系，避免单一性，做到以点带面，点面结合，把原来分散在各个模块中的知识点或是分散在不同册中的知识点加以梳理、归纳，构筑完整的英语知识体系。还有一词多义，词的辨析，表肯定意义的否定句式的归纳等，这些都是学生目前要重点把握的知识。

例1.“把…看作…”这个短语，在新教材的不同册中出现了不同的表达方式，即：think of …as…; regard…as…; consider…as…;treat…as…;look on…as…; see…as，refer to…as.

例2.strike一词多义。

动词：打;撞上;忽然袭击;敲打;使感动;擦;忽然想到，罢工等。

名词：打击; 罢工等。
